NextGen Practice Solutions, a subsidiary of NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, has changed its name to NextGen RCM Services to reflect the revenue cycle management (RCM) services it provides.
NextGen’s RCM Service aids in merging healthcare organization’s entire revenue cycle process including billing and collections, claims submissions and accounts receivable management.
The name change also complements the company’s recent acquisition of ohio-based Matrix Healthcare Management Solutions which provides training, design, implementation and support for RCM services.
NextGen RCM Services executive vice president Monte Sandler said today’s healthcare environment is critical for healthcare organizations to bring stability and results to the revenue cycle process.
"NextGen RCM Services enables our partners to focus on providing patient care while we take responsibility for ensuring that critical RCM functions are performed at an optimal level," Sandler added.
NextGen Healthcare is showcasing its entire suite of products and services, including NextGen RCM Services, at the 2012 Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) National Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.
