NeuroLogica, a manufacturer of imaging equipments, has received CE mark approval for its portable, full body, multi-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner, BodyTom.
The battery powered BodyTom, with 85cm gantry and 60cm field of view (FOV), can be easily transported from room to room, similar to the portable chest X-ray systems.
BodyTom is dicom 3.1 compliant and compatible with all picture archiving and communication system, surgical navigation, electronic medical records, planning systems and provide CT images wherever needed in the clinic, ICU, OR and emergency/trauma departments.
The company said its BodyTom CT and CereTom CT are registered with the US Food and Drug Administration and is also certified to ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 with canadian medical device amendments.
