Providing secure streaming to multiple destinations simultaneously, the new streaming device is said to improve clinical staff efficiency through hospital-wide communication with the operating room, as well as external targeted locations such as educational facilities.

The device streams imaging up to 1080p@60Hz, and helps to capture clinical video and still images, as well as data storage through a USB connection.

ExpandOR offers a DVI-D input, DVI-D and S-Video outputs, and supports RTSP/RTP/UDP streaming protocols, and is suitable for full-duplex HD video/audio conferencing applications.

According to the company, ExpandOR provides an optional password protected login, as well as a privacy mode feature that allows OR staff to prevent the transmission of sensitive patient information at the touch of a button.

The company develops and manufactures medical imaging and informatics systems for the surgical OR, radiology rooms, endoscopy suites and minimally invasive environments.
