NanoString Technologies has launched fixed-panel multiplexed assay kit, the nCounter Human Karyotype Panel, on its Copy Number Variation (CNV) detection platform.

The Panel provides cost effective way to monitor cell line quality, perform cytogenetics research.

The nCounter Analysis System is a fully automated digital detection and counting system with a simple workflow which accurately quantifies chromosome number and detect aneuploidy.

The assay kits contain all of the reagents and consumables required to conduct an experiment.

Minimal sample input requirements and compatibility with a variety of sample types, extends the utility of the platform.

NanoString Technologies chief commercial officer Barney Saunders said they continue to demonstrate the extensibility of nCounter platform with a range of applications that address important market needs.

"With the introduction of the Human Karyotype Panel, NanoString is making molecular karyotyping accessible to anyone interested in monitoring cell line integrity and removing the bottleneck in the quality control process," Saunders said.
