MPR Associate, an employee-owned specialty engineering and management services firm, has obtained both ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications for its quality management system.
The review, performed by AB Certification, focused on the company’s product design services for development, prototyping and testing of medical devices including electro-mechanical, implantable, disposable, diagnostic and surgical devices.
The embedded systems and other non-medical products were also reviewed.
MPR product development division general manager Eric Claude said the company is committed to provide quality products.
"We pursued the ISO certification to make it easier for our customers to work with us," Claude added.
"Now, in addition to looking at our track record of award winning products, customers can look at the ISO certification to gain an additional level of confidence in our work processes."
