Misonix has entered into a four year, exclusive distribution agreement with India-based Cure Surgicals for the distribution of the SonaStar Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator and the BoneScalpel Ultrasonic Bone Cutter.
The SonaStar helps neuro and general surgeons in removing both hard and soft tumors while sparing most vessels.
In addition, OsteoSculpt bone sculpting technology can be used with the SonaStar to remove osseous structures.
The BoneScalpel, a tissue specific osteotomy device, offers the convenience and speed of a power instrument without the danger associated with rotary sharps, claims Misonix.
