St Paul-based Minnetronix, a medical device design and manufacturing firm that incorporates custom electronic, mechanical and software engineering solutions into finished FDA Class II and III medical devices, has appointed Joe Renzetti as chief operating officer.

Renzetti began his career in the US Army, serving as a pilot and flight platoon leader and also worked in various leadership roles that included operations and engineering management, project management, and e-business and enterprise resource planning initiatives.

Most recently Renzetti has served as president of Specialty Construction Brands and prior to that, was president of Adalis Corp, focussing on team building, strategy development and execution, and brand management.

Renzetti is also the co-inventor of two patents for radio frequency identification in packaging and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Minnetronix president and CEO Rich Nazarian said that Renzetti’s background presents a combination of structure and flexibility as well as a history of producing results for customers.

“His demonstrated ability as a leader and strategist will help us better deliver client-focused solutions through strengthened operations and business structures,”Nazarian said.
