Millstone Medical Outsourcing is set to expand its Memphis, Tennessee, US facility's operations to broaden and strengthen its capacity and services.
The 150,000ft² facility will provide clean room packaging, bone/tissue storage, loaner kit processing and distribution services to medical and dental device manufacturers.
The company said the expansion is expected to be completed by the end of the fourth quarter of 2012.
Millstone Medical Outsourcing chief executive officer Chris Ramsden said the additional operational space will allow the company to expand programs for existing customers and to bring over new customers.
"In addition, the new facility is strategically located near the distribution hubs of the area’s major carrier and continues to enable Millstone to provide extended service hours and expedited shipping," Ramsden added.
"We are tremendously excited about all the possibilities the new facility will deliver for the company and our customers."
