Millstone Medical Outsourcing has launched an advanced version of its online password-protected inventory management system for medical device manufacturers to track inventory, place orders and manage distribution.
Built upon a DotNet 4.0 platform, the system enables the download of large data files to Excel and/or Adobe PDF in seconds as opposed to minutes.
Millstone claims the new system is equipped to scale as customers grow and has the capacity needed to absorb more data.
Additional features include a variety of email notifications, the flexibility to request complete or incomplete loaner kits, and the ability to track expiration dates.
Millstone CEO Chris Ramsden said their director of Information Technology, Andre Furtado, worked diligently with operations and program management groups to create a dramatic upgrade to Inventory Management system.
