Millipore Corporation (Millipore) has appointed Jon DiVincenzo as president for its Bioscience Division and member to its corporate executive committee. DiVincenzo assumed his new role on January 1, 2009, succeeding Dominique Baly, who left Millipore at the end of December, 2008. Since he joined Millipore in 1994, DiVincenzo has held a number of key senior management positions within the Bioscience Division.

Most recently serving as vice president of global sales and service and vice president of marketing and R&D. He has also held several senior marketing and product management positions within Millipore’s Lab Water business (now part of the Bioscience Division).

Prior to joining Millipore, DiVincenzo worked for Orion Research (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) in technical support and product management positions, and for General Electric Corporation in thermodynamics engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
