Healthcare services and technology firm Managed Health Care Associates (MHA) has introduced a new Clinical Therapy Management (CTM) technology platform.

The new patient management software system will allow specialty pharmacy and infusion providers to optimize patient care, improve staff efficiency and collect more consistent data for reporting.

MHA Specialty Pharmacy Solutions vice-president Erik Halstrom said: "The ongoing development and enhancements of our CTM platform represents additional milestones in the continued growth and investment in our Specialty Pharmacy portfolio.

"This innovative technology platform allows our specialty pharmacy members access to an easy to use patient management and support software system that covers key specialty disease states. CTM embodies our commitment to develop solutions that help our members provide optimum patient care."

The MHA CTM platform offers an easy to use patient management software system, which will help specialty pharmacies to improve patient care and facilitate the collection of essential clinical and dispensing metrics for specialty reporting.

CTM technology platform includes additional modules to create a broad suite covering key therapeutic areas, comprising hepatitis C, immune globulin therapy, HIV, inflammatory conditions, multiple sclerosis, universal specialty module, bleeding disorders and oncology.

The platform will also provide comprehensive reporting functionality to support a broad range of stakeholders such as manufacturers, payers, referral sources and patients.
