Mercy Medical Center in Iowa, US, will implement iSirona's device connectivity solution in its anesthesia and dialysis machines to automate the flow of patient data directly into its Epic EMR.
The integration of the solution will facilitate clinicians at Mercy to access accurate and timely patient data without changing their current workflow.
Mercy Medical Center CIO Jeff Cash said the implementation is taking place in conjunction with the new Epic go-live.
"With iSirona’s software solution, we have a clear win-win situation," Cash added.
"The accuracy of our data will be much improved, and our clinicians will be able to spend more time with their patients, which is something we take great pride in."
