Medtronic, Inc announced that it will be completing the study of Endurant Stent Graft System by March 2016.

Endurant Stent Graft System is graft deployment system to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms. The system design is intended to enable accuracy, control and simple deployment, while providing high conformability to the vessel wall. It can be placed in the aorta to exclude the weakened part of the artery wall and restore blood flow. Stent material is of Nitinol and woven polyester. It is self expanding and suprarenal.

The study objective is to demonstrate safety and effectiveness of the Endurant Stent Graft in the treatment of Abdominal Aortic or Aorto-iliac Aneurysms. The 194 patient study is currently recruiting participants. The official title of the study is “Endurant Stent Graft System US Clinical Study”.
