The move will allow the company to reach more than 15,000 hospitals and clinics in Europe within 24 hours.
The facility will be established and operated in partnership with supply chain management firm CEVA Logistics.
About 140 new jobs will be created apart from the existing 1000 Medtronic employees in Heerlen. The first activities at new facility are anticipated to commence mid-2017.

We look forward to enhancing our presence in this community.”
