Medline Industries has entered into a new three-year agreement with the Premier Healthcare Alliance.
The three-year agreement, which will begin from 1 April 2012, will provide savings to Premier’s membership of more than 2,500 US hospitals and 80,000-plus other health care sites.
Octylseal is a wound closure tissue adhesive which provides a non-invasive option to sutures.
Octylseal is also used as a microbial barrier or dressing.
Premier said it has also worked with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the National Health Service North West to improve hospital performance.
