MedData has acquired a provider of physician billing services to pathologists and emergency departments - Data Management (DMI).
MedData now adds pathology billing to its current portfolio of billing specialties including emergency medicine, hospitalists and wound care.
MedData CEO Douglas Thompson said their emergency medicine and hospitalist-focused headquarters will remain in Brecksville, Ohio, while their new pathology billing office will be at DMI’s current site in Peoria, Ill.
MedData providers medical billing services including billing, coding, collections and revenue cycle management.
