Medcad has introduced AccuShape patient-specific cranial implants for patients requiring cranial skeletal reconstruction as the result of disease or birth defect, trauma.
AccuShape patient-specific cranial implants are made using MedCad’s 3D design and provides anatomically correct cranial implants.
Medcad president and CEO Nancy Hairston said their AccuShape implants round out Medcad’s suite of custom CMF solutions that also include Digital Surgical Planning, custom anatomical models and other custom implant products.
Medcad David Genecov said the capability to create Peek implants modeled after the intrinsic defect provides opportunities for physicians to improve the care of their patients.
The company is seeking additonal OEM and independent distribution partners to commercialize and deliver its AccuShape patient-specific cranial implants and other solutions.
