Masimo, a provider of noninvasive monitoring technologies, has entered into a three-year, dual-source contract agreement with Novation.
Under the agreement, Novation members including VHA and the University Health System Consortium (UHC) will have access to Masimo’s SET pulse oximetry and rainbow SET Pulse CO-Oximetry.
Masimo’s SET pulse oximetry utilizes patented signal processing technologies, including parallel engines and adaptive filters, to measure patient’s true oxygenation status and pulse rate.
The company’s rainbow SET Pulse CO-Oximetry noninvasively captures and monitors multiple blood constituents including total hemoglobin, oxygen content, carboxyhemoglobin, methemoglobin, Pleth Variability Index, perfusion index and acoustic respiration rate.
