Lima Memorial Health System (LMHS) has renewed its contract agreement with a radiology provider, Radisphere.
Under the renewed contract, Radisphere will provide its radiology services to LMHS till 2015.
LMHS senior vice president and chief operating officer Bob Armstrong said as radiology is an important starting point in the healthcare continuum, it must provide consistent, accurate and high-quality service to the LMHS’ referring physicians.
"It continues to provide a strong level of service and efficiency that allow LMHS to maintain superior medical staff satisfaction and quality patient care," Armstrong added.
LMHS general surgery chief Franklin Oaks said, "Having the ability to collaborate and communicate with subspecialty radiologists 24 hours a day makes Radisphere a valuable part of our patient care team."
