LifeScience Alley and WMDO (World Medical Device Organization), a provider of online training for medical device professionals, have entered into a strategic partnership to offer LifeScience Alley members access to WMDO's extensive catalogue of professional online training.

The collaboration brings WMDO’s global expertise in online medical device industry training to LifeScience Alley member organisations, and supplements LifeScience Alley’s live educational programming to further build industry participants’ knowledge and expertise on medical device issues with a global perspective.

Under the agreement, LifeScience Alley members will receive free access to their personalised virtual course room where members may access the entire catalogue of online training with reduced rates and personalised support from course authors.

LifeScience Alley president and CEO Dale Wahlstrom said they are proud to partner with WMDO to give our members an even greater variety of choices for medical device training that is relevant, up-to-date, and cost-effective.

"WMDO has developed a world-class catalogue of device-specific training that spans the entire medical device product development cycle and we are very excited to be able to extend this fully interactive online educational resource to our members," Wahlstrom said.

WMDO global vice president of Sales and Marketing Richard Nehm said they are honored to join together with LifeScience Alley, a provider for the advancement of the life science industry, to complement their educational program curriculum.

"WMDO is focused on the creation and delivery of innovative and effective eLearning solutions and provides medical device professionals with online access to high-quality learning resources that are timely, relevant and engaging," Nehm said.
