Levitronix LLC, a privately held medical device company, has appointed Suraj Kalia to its advisory board. Presently, he is a senior analyst at SMH Capital (SMH) and has spent his career researching and analyzing healthcare companies, with a specific focus on the medical device sector. Before joining SMH, Kalia was a Senior Analyst at Piper Jaffray, with primary coverage responsibility for the medical device sector.

Prior to this, Kalia held corporate development roles at Entegris, Inc, and was an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Suraj received a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology; an M.E. in Chemical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology; and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
