LDR, a developer of implantable spine devices and instruments, has moved to a new, expanded facility in Austin, Texas.

The new facility which was built to recognize LDR as a medical device company, features expanded training capacity for surgeon customers and sales professionals.

LDR president and CEO Christophe Lavigne said the company will continue to launch products into the global spine markets.

"In addition to the anticipated US approval of the Mobi-C Cervical Artificial Disc, we will be launching several new products over the next two years for both thoracolumbar and cervical applications," Lavigne said.

"In addition, an expanded US presence will allow us to better partner with our international offices in France, Germany, China, Korea, Brazil and elsewhere."
