Lakeview Health System, an integrated, nonprofit clinic and hospital system, has entered into an agreement with HealthPartners to expand health care capabilities in the St. Croix Valley region.
Together the organizations will be able to provide a wider range of local health care services, sharing information technology, joint planning and development resources.
Lakeview Health is now an integral part of a larger health care system, and can offer patients and the surrounding area the benefit of easier access to HealthPartners regional provider network.
HealthPartners CEO and president Mary Brainerd said through this affiliation they will deliver improved health, lower costs and an exceptional experience for patients and health plan members.
Lakeview Health and HealthPartners have already been working together to provide cardiology and oncology services.
Additional opportunities around joint planning and sharing information technology and other resources will begin in the coming months.
