Kelyniam Global, a medical device manufacturing company that uses CAD/CAM technology for the production of custom cranial implants, is set to acquire Cranston Holdings, which has rapid prototyping operations in Connecticut.

The transaction is for an equity swap for assets and revenues.

Cranston specializes in Stereolithography and multiple aspects of rapid prototyping for the medical industry.

Cranston former president Chris Breault will join Kelyniam’s Board of Directors and will oversee Kelyniam’s new Engineering and Manufacturing facility operations in Canton Connecticut.

Kelyniam president and CEO James Ketner said Cranston owns an in-house developed proprietary software package that will assist them in their ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820 compliance, and that software package is now IP of Kelyniam.
