Janco has begun a new initiative to provide better medical device packaging, thus improving patient care.

The initiative is to meet the ever-present need for a higher level of precision and reliability in the medical industry.

Janco spokesman Phil Killer said it has improved not only the processes and equipment used to produce medical device packaging, but also continued to refine the design of medical packaging as well by integrating every step of the fabrication process with a deeper understanding of operating room procedure.

"Entering 2012, Janco is excited about many medical equipment upgrades including plastic clamshell packaging, procedural trays, dental trays, custom contoured blister packs, and a number of other medical packaging products for new and old clients," Killer said.

In addition, Janco has also added equipment upgrades to better provide secondary operations including die cutting, hot stamping, CNC milling, and engineering support.
