IRIS International, a manufacturer of urinalysis systems and consumables for use in hospitals and commercial laboratories, has entered into a strategic partnership with Digital Images Diagnostic (China) for its Urinalysis product line in China.

As per the deal, Digital Images will have rights in China for the sale, marketing and service of IRIS’ iQ(R)200 Sprint, Elite and Select series of Automated Urine Microscopy Analyzers, the iChem Velocity Automated Urine Chemistry Analyzer, and the combined iRICELL workstation.

Sales for IRIS’s complete line of automated urinalysis products will commence immediately with the currently registered products of iQ200 Sprint, Elite and Select analyzers. The company anticipates the registration process for iChem Velocity and iRicell workstation to be completed in 2010.
