Intel-GE Care Innovations has launched a new telehealth technology system, Health Harmony, which simplifies remote patient monitoring by providing intuitive and easy-to-use technology that enables patients, clinicians, care providers, and family caregivers to collaborate for better care in the home and within normal daily routines.
Designed using consumer insights and preferences, the system connects and engages patients, their families and clinicians through an easy to use interface where they can share health data, educational information, and best practices customized to individual situations.
Care Innovations chief executive officer Sean Slovenski said: "Today, much of the care delivered post-discharge in the home is fraught with issues of compliance and medication adherence.
"Care that is facilitated by a family caregiver has proven to be more effective than without a caregiver.

The system is aimed at improving the patient’s health as well as also simplifying the life of a family caregiver, keeping the patient at home where they want to be most.
Via Health Harmony, patients and caregivers can receive interactive, evidence-based educational content and securely send vital signs and other health information to clinicians.
