Integra LifeSciences has opened a new facility in Medina, Ohio, to house its growing spinal implant business.

The Medina facility is equipped with the latest video and communication technology, which will help support global business operations as well as multi-site product development efforts.

It also features a Prototype Shop and a medical device mechanical testing laboratory, both designed to enhance the development process and better serve the needs of Integra‘s customers.

Integra has another facility in the greater-Cincinnati area, where it manufactures and distributes its MAYFIELD cranial surgical stabilization systems and distributes many of its extremity reconstruction products.

It has also marketing and product development for its upper extremities and neurosurgical businesses.

Integra’s Global Spine and Orthobiologics president and Strategic Development head said the new facility will enable Integra to sustain the expected growth of its spine team and better serve our global customers.
