US-based InfuSystem Holdings, through its subsidiary, has acquired all the assets of Ciscura Holding Company and its subsidiaries.

Based in Alpharetta of Georgia, Ciscura provides ambulatory infusion pumps and services to medical facilities in the Southeastern region. The company was formed, after the merger of Ciscura Infusion Services and Triad Medical Supply.

Under the deal, InfuSystem is acquiring around 1,600 infusion pumps from Ciscura, in addition to the four person field sales team and facilities management personnel, which will serve as the foundation for InfuSystem’s new Southeast facility, located near Atlanta.

The new facility will allow InfuSystem to expand the services to its existing customers, as well as to the new customers previously serviced by Ciscura.

InfuSystem Holdings CEO Eric Steen said: "The addition of Ciscura further strengthens and complements InfuSystem’s leading position within the oncology home infusion segment."

InfuSystem noted that it had purchased around 6,000 infusion pumps in 2014.
