Integrated Medical Partners (IMP) has selected Intelerad Medical Systems' InteleOne Distributed Radiology Solution to form the core of its new managed teleradiology services solution - Plexus Teleradiology.

Plexus Teleradiology provides the complete solution and manpower to facilitate the delivery of healthcare from radiologist to patient, including ongoing IT support and follow-up to ensure uninterrupted connectivity, maximised radiologist productivity, automated peer review, and correct back-end billing and administration.

Intelerad will provide Plexus client practices with the medical imaging infrastructure, including a unified worklist and viewer reading platform, that provides connection of the radiologist to any image source.

IMP CEO William Pickart said that Intelerad’s distributed architecture provides the interoperable, fault-tolerant and scalable solution required to offer a reliable reading and reporting environment, so they are quite pleased to have Intelerad as technology partner.

Intelerad Medical Systems founder and chief technology officer Chris Henri said that some of the largest radiology practices in North America are already running their InteleOne and IntelePACS distributed radiology solutions.

“Intelerad solutions excel in complex and distributed environments where the challenge is to streamline radiology workflow so we are a natural choice for a group like Plexus, seeking an efficient and proven platform to support its Teleradiology offering,” Henri said.

Intelerad Medical Systems is a provider of medical imaging PACS and workflow solutions. IntelePACS relies on a scalable, flexible, and fault-tolerant architecture.
