iHealth Lab claims that iHealth Align is the world’s smallest mobile blood glucose monitor. The new mobile blood glucose monitor was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
The new iHealth Align, which works with both iPhone and Android phones, plugs directly into the headphone jack of a smart phone and displays, stores readings using the iHealth Gluco-Smart app.
The iHealth Gluco-Smart mobile app allows users to manage their readings, track insulin and share info with caregivers and supporters. Users can view their information from anywhere by logging into their online account as all the data is automatically sent to the cloud.
In addition to the launch of iHealth Align, iHealth Lab has also announced the iHealth Simple Savings program to make test strip replacement convenient and affordable, essentially eliminating the need for insurance reimbursement.
According to iHealth Lab, users can now purchase iHealth strips and avoid hassles associated with reimbursement for insurance coverage.
The Simple Savings program will soon have an option to automate test strip replenishment through the iHealth Gluco-Smart mobile app, which intelligently tracks individual test strip usage, allowing for accurate and timely refills.
