ICU Medical has entered into a 36-month contract to supply Novation with its full line of critical care products.
As per the agreement effective from 1 January 2012, ICU Medical will supply disposable pressure transducers, hemodynamic monitors and catheters and in-line blood sampling system to Novation members including VHA and UHC and Provista.
The agreement will also allow Novation members to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Novation.
ICU Medical finalized acquisition of the former Abbott Critical Care product line from Hospira in 2009.
The products include cardiac, hemodynamic, vascular monitoring systems, closed needlefree blood conservation systems, latex-free catheters, disposable pressure transducers and made-to-order angiography kits.
ICU Medical will also participate in a new Novation Standardization Program geared towards critical care medicine and product lines associated with that area of care.
