ICU Medical said it has prolonged two primary distribution agreements with Hospira, through 31 December 2018.
Under the supply and distribution deal, Hospira buys CLAVE and oncology products, and also retains rights to distribute ICU Medical products worldwide with terms that previously extended to 2014.
As per the co-promotion and distribution agreement, ICU manufactures all new custom infusion sets for sale by Hospira, and both the companies will together sell the products under the brand name- SetSource.
ICU Medical founder and CEO George Lopez said they look forward to continuing their relationship and providing customers with access to its innovative CLAVE, oncology products, custom infusion sets and other products globally.
Financial terms of the deals have not been disclosed.
ICU Medical develops, manufactures and sells innovative medical technologies used in Intravenous therapy, oncology and critical care applications.
Headquartered in Illinois, Hospira is the leading provider of injectable drugs and infusion technologies.
