Hycor, Novation in allergy, autoimmune laboratory testing supply agreement

Novation has awarded a two year supplier agreement to a manufacturer of in vitro diagnostic products, Hycor Biomedical.

Under the agreement, Hycor will provide more than 65,000 members served by Novation including VHA, UHC, two national healthcare alliances, and Provista with the ability to purchase its allergy and autoimmune laboratory testing.

Hycor Biomedical CEO Dick Aderman said, "We are pleased to work with Novation to offer the members these important allergy and autoimmune testing options at a competitive price."

Hycor said the early diagnosis and treatment of allergy have been shown to modify the course of the disease and help prevent subsequent development of other more serious conditions.

Hycor markets the Hytec, Kova and Autostat brands as well as delivers its products to clinical laboratories, hospitals and doctors’ offices.
