Huntsman Cancer Institute, a part of the University of Utah Health Sciences, has chosen Wolters Kluwer Health's ProVation MultiCaregiver solution for use in its electronic health record and patient charting solution.

The solution, which interfaces with vitals monitors, scheduling and patient demographic systems, facilitates nurses, anesthesiologists and other caregivers to accurately document care.

In addition, the solution decreases time and cost for documentation, reporting and management, and increases workflow efficiency, documentation compliance and revenue.

Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions clinical documentation vice president and general manager Mike Haldane said Huntsman Cancer Institute is focused on understanding cancer from very beginnings and translating that knowledge into safer and more effective treatments.

"We are pleased that HCI has selected ProVation MultiCaregiver to help achieve its mission of ensuring that each patient benefits from the most current understanding of science and bedside care," Haldane added.
