Huntington Memorial Hospital, a 625-bed, not-for-profit community-focused regional medical center, has chosen Merge Healthcare's Merge PACS and the entire iConnect Enterprise Clinical solution.

Huntington will integrate the Merge’s solutions to image-enable its hospital inpatient EHR as well as community health information exchange, Huntington Health eConnect.

Merge PACS features a modular design which allows for easy integration with a various third-party systems, while the iConnect platform including iConnect Access, iConnect Share and iConnect Enterprise Archive collects, archives, shares and exchange any type of image, anywhere, any time.

Huntington Hospital physician and interoperability services executive director Rebecca Armato said the company’s commitment is to improve the health of the community.
