Hitachi Aloka Medical, a provider of diagnostic ultrasound systems, is set to display its 4D ultrasound Elastography feature.

The 4D ultrasound Elastography feature available on the company’s HI Vision Ascendus system provides live 3-dimensional images which depict the relative stiffness of tissue.

Upon implementation of the Hitachi Aloka’s 4D Elastography feature, clinicians can better view the 3-dimensional distribution of stiffness in real-time, the company claims.
