The new software will manage required back-end duties for medical clinics and hospitals to maintain compliance for release of information (ROI) including invoicing, collections, delivery, tracking and reporting.

MedRelease is said to enhance ROI process and automates billing and collections for medical clinics and hospitals.

The software also provides real-time tracking, accounting of disclosure management and electronic delivery capabilities to attain meaningful use objectives, RAC/Payer chart audit import technology, and additional information processes.

According to the firm, the medical clinics and hospitals that deploy MedRelease can reduce ROI staff and increase operational efficiencies.

HealthMark Group CEO Scott Bagley said: "HealthMark aims to transform the conventional ROI outsourcing model for healthcare organizations.

"The introduction of MedRelease gives our clients the tools they need to stay compliant with increasingly complex regulations and streamlines the disclosure process for all parties."

The company has deployed the new software at Heart Place, North Texas Preferred Health and Houston Heart Associates in the US.
