Healthland has appointed Angie Franks as the new president and CEO of the company, succeeds John Trzeciak, who served as interim CEO since June 2010

Prior to joining Healthland, Franks spent seven years at Lawson Software where she led market development for the organisation’s healthcare business, and was responsible for marketing integration during Lawson’s $450m acquisition of Intentia.

Healthland president and CEO Angie Franks said that this appointment will be a seamless move for the employees and their clients.

“We will continue to focus on our existing priorities: providing a superior client experience, helping clients achieve Meaningful Use, and delivering products and services that create operational efficiencies and improve patient care, Franks said.
