Harrison Medical Center has installed Toshiba America Medical Systems' (TAMS) three different Infinix-i vascular X-ray systems to conduct interventional cardiac, peripheral and EP exams.

The three different Toshiba’s Infinix-i systems including Infinix DP-i dual plane system features a dual C-arms, one with an 8" x 8" flat panel detector for cardiac and a 12" x 16" flat panel detector for peripheral.

Harrison Medical Center interventional cardiologist Satyavardhan Pulukurthy said the radial approach revolutionized their practice, as it reduces complications and improves patient recovery time.

"The C-arms of Toshiba’s Infinix-i systems easily move in any direction, creating optimal imaging angles and putting clinicians in the ideal position for radial interventions on either side," Pulukurthy said.
