GE HealthCare has rolled out the MyBreastAI Suite, a new, all-in-one platform to help healthcare professionals in expediting breast cancer detection and improve workflow productivity.

MyBreastAI Suite is an artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed specifically for mammography.

It has three AI apps from iCAD to help physicians detect and notify patients of breast cancer.

The MyBreastAI Suite currently integrates ProFound AI for DBT, SecondLook for 2D Mammography, and PowerLook Density Assessment AI applications from iCAD.

These applications help radiology departments increase operational productivity while supporting early detection and boosting patient outcomes.

ProFound AI for DBT offers radiologists key data like lesion certainty of finding and case scores, which helps with caseload prioritisation, clinical decision-making, and in potentially reducing burnout.

The SecondLook for 2D Mammography application is a computer-aided detection (CAD) system to identify and highlight regions of interest in screening and diagnostic mammograms.

It uses GE HealthCare’s full-field digital mammography (FFDM) systems to bring them under the radiologist’s attention following an initial reading.

The PowerLook Density Assessment application is intended to make it easier for clinicians to report and stratify patient data and reduce variability in breast density assessments made by different radiologists.

In addition, the tool empowers them to give women accurate and trustworthy breast density assessments based on AI mammogram analysis.

GE HealthCare vice president and mammography general manager Pooja Pathak said: “As part of GE HealthCare’s ongoing commitment to transform healthcare and improve patient outcomes, we continue to explore how we can leverage the power of AI in mammography to support the early detection of breast cancer.

“As screening guidelines continue to evolve and more attention is given to personal risk factors such as breast density, these kinds of tools are an important and exciting addition to our comprehensive portfolio of breast imaging technologies.”

According to the medical technology company, the use of these digital solutions can help in clinical decision-making and ranking caseload as per priority.

MyBreastAI Suite will be distributed, installed, and supported by GE HealthCare as a part of the Senographe Pristina mammography portfolio. It will initially be accessible in the US.
