Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A and Fujifilm SonoSite will exhibit their Synapse Enterprise Imaging product portfolio and SonoSite iViz solution at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) event in the US.

The event will take place from 19 to 23 February at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The solutions being showcased include Synapse VNA, which is an enterprise-wide medical information and image management solution that acts as a vendor-neutral, scalable, and organizationally aware storage and distribution system for DICOM and non-DICOM objects.

It helps to store and provide access to the complete imaging record, as well as integrates more specialties, devices and data.

Synapse 5 PACS helps in subsecond delivery of extremely large datasets. Its latest design features server-side image rendering and zero-download viewer with browser and operating system flexibility.

Synapse mobility enterprise viewer enables to securely and quickly stream all patient imaging data to authorized users, while Synapse RIS is a full-featured and workflow management system that can be integrated with Synapse PACS.

SonoSite iViz will provide access to patient information, and holds capacity to store exam findings, submit reports, and consult with remote providers for near real-time assessment.

Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A medical informatics vice president Bill Lacy said: “Fujifilm has earned a reputation as a dedicated partner in helping healthcare organizations establish and grow their enterprise imaging strategy so that they are better positioned to deliver value-based care.

“Fujifilm’s Synapse portfolio is the most comprehensive enterprise imaging solution available today and is designed to help improve patient outcomes and workflow efficiencies while realizing both cost savings and true interoperability.”
