Fujifilm has expanded its pulmonology solutions portfolio by adding a new slim bronchoscope called EB-710P, which it unveiled at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress in Barcelona, Spain

With the inclusion of the EB-710P Slim Bronchoscope, Japanese conglomerate expects to offer a comprehensive range of pulmonology and bronchoscopy solutions to enhance patient outcomes and early diagnosis.

Fujifilm said that its expanded product portfolio will enable healthcare professionals to provide better patient care by supporting improved diagnostic pathways and treatment planning for patients who have lung issues.

Its suite of pulmonology solutions is claimed to include a wide range of products that a pulmonologist may require for the entire diagnostic patient care pathway. This includes screening tools like X-ray and computed tomography (CT), diagnostic solutions such as bronchoscopes, endoscopic systems,  bronchoscopic navigation planning, and ultrasound mini-probes, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) software and surgical planning software.

Fujifilm’s expanded portfolio includes the FDR Nano X-ray system, a lightweight, portable digital X-ray machine that makes use of the patented imaging technologies of the group.

The portfolio also features the FDR Xair X-ray machine that offers portability and operability for optimal patient care in nursing homes, emergency medical care, and patients’ homes.
