Fujifilm has introduced a high-performance wide-format inkjet printer - Acuity LED 1600 - to produce large-size posters and window displays.
The LED 1600 features a proprietary-design LED light source, high precision and high speed printhead and fast curing UV LED ink.
Fujifilm uses proprietary Fast Accurate Marking technology and achieves drop placement at high print speed enabling productivity of 215 ft² per hour.
The printer comes standard with eight color inks including cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, white and clear.
When combined with the Intelligent Curing Control technology to deliver precise LED light volume and alignment, the Acuity LED 1600 controls ink and substrate affinity thereby achieving smooth gradation.
The printer is also equipped with Spot Color Matching software which automatically generates a color comparison chart against the desired output color which simplifies the process of matching spot colors.
