The flat panel detector uses Fujifilm‘s patented Irradiation Side Sampling (ISS) that improves detective quantum efficiency (DQE) and enables technologists to take images at lower doses.

Fujifilm claims the wireless detector is the ideal solution for exams where low dose is required to produce the fine details for images of delicate areas, such as orthopaedic exams of the wrist, hand or leg.

Fujifilm Product Marketing, Modality Solutions director David Hotchkiss said the FDR D-EVO Wireless offers technologists increased versatility and improved workflow during an exam while providing radiologists with the same exceptional image quality that they have grown to expect from Fujifilm.
