FlowCardia, Inc. (FlowCardia), a developer of endovascular devices for the treatment of chronic total occlusions (CTOs), has appointed Chris Barys to the position of chief operating officer (COO) of the company. In his new role at FlowCardia, Barys will assume responsibility for R&D, quality, clinical and regulatory functions in addition to sales and marketing.
Chris previously held the position of executive vice president, sales and marketing at FlowCardia and has over 18 years of experience in Medical Devices including the last 2 years at FlowCardia. Prior to FlowCardia, Barys served as vice president of sales and marketing for the Peripheral Vascular Systems business for Edwards Lifesciences where he had broad responsibility for this rapidly growing business segment.
