The Titan modular total shoulder system offers a bone-preserving option for total or hemi shoulder arthroplasty patients and also offers multiple glenoid options for total shoulder replacement patients.

The surgeons are allowed to select distal stems and proximal bodies that match the patient’s anatomy and bone quality due to the modularity of the Titan system.

The system is interchangeable allowing all primary and fracture bodies to be used with either press-fit or cemented stems with 26 humeral head sizing options available.

Ascension Orthopedics president and CEO Guy Mayer said that this is an exciting time for Ascension Orthopedics as the FDA approval of the Titan Modular Total Shoulder System marks a great milestone and they look forward to the success of this system as well as the future expansion planned for shoulder line.

“Now we are able to offer patients a bone-preserving option for resurfacing, hemi, and total shoulder arthroplasty,” Mayer said.
