EU has granted CE mark approval to Bausch + Lomb and Technolas Perfect Vision's Victus Femtosecond Laser technology.
The Victus Femtosecond laser technology is used in astigmatic keratotomy, Intracor, Lasik flap, capsulotomy and lens fragmentation procedures.
Bausch + Lomb Global Surgical Business EVP, president and CEO Robert Grant said this CE mark approval represents a major step for femtosecond laser technology by elevating the role that laser technology can play in refractive and cataract procedures.
Technolas Perfect Vision CEO Kristian Hohla said they are very pleased that, together with Bausch + Lomb, they have demonstrated the viability of the Victus platform for enhanced cataract surgery.
