EndoChoice, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of gastrointestinal endoscopy devices, has strengthened its position in endoscopy industry with the launch of a new CEU program and a complete line of products focused on endoscope reprocessing.

EndoChoice’s new CEU Video Program for Endoscope Reprocessing educates physicians, nurses and technicians on the proper protocol for reprocessing endoscopes. The program provides one contact hour of continuing education for the gastroenterology professional with an overview of the professional society guidelines for proper endoscope care and infection control.

EndoChoice has recently launched a full line of endoscope reprocessing products, designed to meet the established society guidelines for proper care and control.

Mark Gilreath, CEO of EndoChoice, said: “We understand the vital importance of proper infection control and the issues associated with effective endoscope reprocessing. As a result, we have developed a CEU program and a complete line of GI specific reprocessing products to support the society guidelines. We strive to be an advocate for the GI professional in everything we do, so we are very pleased to offer this educational program to the GI community.”

Mark DeLegge, director of the digestive disease center at the Medical University of South Carolina, said: “Reprocessing is the most critical component of an endoscopy procedure and CEU program is an important training tool to encourage and support proper reprocessing.”
