eMerge Health Solutions has launched a new version of intra-operative endoscopic workflow solution, eMerge|ENDO, designed for physicians and nurses to document endoscopic procedures in real-time by using keyword-driven voice commands.
The hands-free solution, eMerge|ENDO Version 4.0, captures all of the procedural notes including pathology requisition and billing information and distributes accordingly throughout the medical facility.
The new proprietary voice processing engine creates own voice commands, as suggested by physicians, for procedure reports and discharge instructions.
eMerge president and CEO Trent McCracken said the new product was launched to improve the intra-operative documentation and workflow solution for the healthcare industry.
"Since our very first release of the software, this newest version represents one of our biggest platform releases to date, covering a wide range of enhancements, bug fixes, and greatly improved performance and scalability on the cloud," McCracken added.
